Commissioning a memorial can start with a phone call, a visit to our workshop in the city of Canterbury, or simply email us with your ideas and thoughts.
A conversation does help us understand your needs and how best to create a fitting memorial to the person being commemorated, but is not essential.
We usually produce a few sketches showing possible layouts, letter styles and stone shapes and then develop this further in collaboration with clients until a final design is reached.
We then prepare a finished drawing and quotation, and then the stone will be ordered from the quarry at which point we will require a deposit of 50 per cent.
We will make the necessary applications for permits on your behalf.
The stone will be ordered from the quarry and upon delivery work will start. You will receive updates on your memorial's progression.
When the memorial is finished it will be fixed in the churchyard or cemetery by us.
